As an Energy Transition Strategist, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing strategies that drive the transition towards sustainable, low-carbon energy solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and executing strategies to facilitate the transition to renewable and low-carbon energy solutions within the company. - Conducting in-depth market research, scenario planning, and policy analysis to support decarbonization and sustainability efforts. - Evaluating potential investment opportunities in clean energy technologies such as solar, wind, hydrogen, storage, CCUS, etc. - Providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on energy transition roadmaps. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, R&D, and policy to ensure alignment with climate and sustainability objectives. - Monitoring regulatory frameworks, carbon pricing mechanisms, and ESG requirements to maintain compliance and competitiveness. - Engaging with industry partners, policymakers, and investors to enhance external collaborations. - Creating presentations, white papers, and reports for executives and stakeholders. To qualify for this role, you should possess: - A Bachelors or Masters degree in Energy Policy, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. - At least 5 years of experience in energy strategy, sustainability consulting, or renewable energy project development. - Strong knowledge of global energy markets, carbon reduction strategies, and ESG frameworks. - Proficiency in analytical tools, financial modeling, and strategic planning. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of engaging senior executives and stakeholders. - The ability to work across different disciplines and lead strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.,
