Job Description

As an IP Analyst at Arctic Invent, a leading intellectual property firm based in Noida, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Prepare, review, and file statutory forms required under the Indian Patents Act (e.g., Form 1, 2, 3, 5, 18, 26, etc.). - Coordinate the end-to-end filing process for Indian patent applications - provisional, complete specifications, PCT national phase, and convention applications. - Track and respond to First Examination Reports (FERs) and IPO notices within stipulated timelines. - Maintain accurate IP records and track deadlines using internal IP management systems or docketing tools. - Liaise with inventors, R&D teams, and external patent agents/attorneys for collecting necessary documentation and declarations. - Conduct basic IP due diligence and assist with the formalities check of applications submitted. Qualifications required for the role include: - A Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or law. (Preferred: B.Tech, B.Sc., or LLB) - 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Indian patent filing processes. - Familiarity with all major Indian Patent Office forms and formalities. - Proficiency in preparing and filing Forms 1, 2, 3, 5, 18, 26, and others. - Strong understanding of the Indian patent system, timelines, and legal requirements. - Good communication skills for working with inventors. - Proficiency in using IP databases (InPASS, WIPO, etc.) and MS Office tools. - Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple filings simultaneously.
