You should have knowledge of L2 network deployment and be proficient in configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches (CISCO and Aruba), and firewalls (Fortinet/ Pal Alto). Your responsibilities will include ensuring proper connectivity, security, and optimal performance by configuring IP addresses, VLANs, routing protocols, and access control lists. You will also be required to identify and resolve network outages, latency issues, and bottlenecks, as well as analyze network traffic patterns and perform packet captures. Your main responsibilities will include answering inbound customer calls to offer assistance with internet-related issues, troubleshooting common technical problems such as modem/router configuration, speed issues, and DNS errors, guiding customers through technical steps in a clear and simple manner, logging issues, and escalating them to higher technical teams when necessary. Your goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution. To excel in this role, you should have a good grasp of internet basics, IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, as well as be familiar with routers/modems and their setup process.
