Business Development Manager IoT & AI Solutions Location: Bengaluru Experience: 4 8 Years Industry: Information Technology & Services Functional Area: Sales / Business Development Employment Type: Full Time An end-to-end Internet of Things (IoT) solutions company with its own proprietary IoT platform and strong solution engineering capabilities is looking for a enthusiastic Business development manager. They are expanding rapidly and looking for a highly driven Business Development Manager (BDM) who can spearhead growth in IoT and AI domains by acquiring high-value projects and building strategic relationships. Key Responsibilities Identify and generate new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and strategic outreach. Drive project acquisition in IoT, Artificial Intelligence, and Digital Transformation across domestic and international markets. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline of qualified leads, ensuring consistent follow-ups and conversions. Collaborate with technical teams to design and pitch custom IoT/AI-based solutions and Proof-of-Concept (POC) projects. Engage with CxOs, CTOs, Innovation Heads, and Procurement Teams to position Chipmonks solutions effectively. Work closely with pre-sales, solution architects, and technical experts to prepare winning proposals, RFPs, RFQs, and SoWs. Understand client pain points and align solutions to address business challenges through IoT and AI. Explore and develop new markets and customer segments to drive business expansion. Required Skills & Experience 4+ years of experience in IT Sales / Business Development, with at least 3 years in IoT and AI domains . Proven track record of closing high-value deals (INR 3050 Lakhs and above) and managing complex sales cycles. Strong network in relevant industries with the ability to connect with decision-makers and influencers. Deep understanding of IoT platforms, edge devices, AI/ML solutions, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise integrations . Experience in selling custom solutions, POCs, and enterprise-scale deployments . Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment . Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field . Strong understanding of AI/ML, IoT architectures, and deployment models . Demonstrated success in revenue generation and strategic project acquisition in emerging technology domains.
