You have an exciting opportunity to work with Uplers" client - SOL-X as a System Architect & Engineering Lead in Chennai. As a System Architect & Engineering Lead at SOL-X, you will be responsible for driving system architecture and scale by designing and evolving the architecture of a multi-product platform consisting of wearables, IoT edge devices, and cloud applications. You will lead the technical delivery of core products, ensuring high-quality, secure, and performant systems across various domains. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will define and execute the technical roadmap, build and lead a high-performance engineering team, and oversee the implementation of large-scale projects. Your role will also involve ensuring engineering operational excellence, advancing AI and data strategy, and representing engineering in various forums. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 10 years of professional experience in software engineering with a minimum of 4 years leading engineering teams. You must have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams in fast-paced environments and possess strong expertise in system architecture, distributed systems, and scalable backend development. Proficiency in Java, Node.js, React, GraphQL, Kafka, and NoSQL databases is essential, along with prior experience in IoT protocols, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices. Exposure to AI/ML integration, maritime safety use cases, and project management across geographies is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills are also required.
