As a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L2) at NTT DATA, your role involves providing a managed service to clients to ensure the continuous operation of their IT infrastructure and systems. You will be responsible for proactively monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving technical incidents and problems while restoring service to clients. Your main objective will be to review client requests or tickets, apply technical/process knowledge to resolve them within service level agreements (SLA), and offer second-line support for incidents and requests of medium complexity. Additionally, you may contribute to or support project work when necessary. Your key responsibilities will include: - Hands-on experience with IOS/SUP upgradation for various models such as 5K/7K/9K/4500/6500/ASR - Knowledge of data center handling and router/switch operations - Troubleshooting hardware issues at a device level - Configuration and troubleshooting of stack, VLAN, VTP, STP, VSS, VDC, VPC, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, PBR, HSRP, and ACL - Familiarity with SDWAN, ISE, wireless, and SDWAN technologies - Working with a variety of network devices including Cisco Catalyst series, ASR1000, ISR4000, and others To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing or relevant work experience - CCNP or equivalent certification - Additional certifications related to the services provided will be advantageous This position requires on-site working at NTT DATA, a global innovator in business and technology services with a commitment to helping clients innovate, optimize, and transform for long-term success.
