NTT DATA is looking for a Mobile Architect to join the team in Pune, Maharashtra, India. As a Mobile Engineering Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mobile solutions across various platforms. Your focus will be on creating seamless user experiences and efficient back-end integrations. Collaborating with product teams, developers, and business stakeholders, you will architect mobile applications that meet user needs and technical requirements. Your expertise in mobile development frameworks, backend systems, cloud services, and security best practices is crucial for delivering high-quality, reliable, and secure mobile applications. Key Responsibilities - Lead the architecture of mobile apps for iOS, Android, and cross-platform environments, ensuring scalable, high-performance, and maintainable code. - Utilize frameworks and tools such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, React Native, Flutter, Ionic-Capacitor, and others to provide innovative mobile development solutions. - Advocate for best practices in mobile app development, including performance optimization, modular design, and code quality standards. - Design and integrate mobile apps with backend systems, APIs, and cloud services to ensure smooth and secure data flow. - Implement mobile security best practices including data encryption, secure authentication, and compliance with data protection regulations. - Provide insights into iOS and Android development environments and frameworks, including platform-specific features, capabilities, and limitations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align mobile app architecture with business goals and user experience requirements. - Ensure smooth continuous integration and deployment pipelines for mobile apps and collaborate with DevOps teams. - Mentor junior developers and lead technical discussions related to mobile app architecture. Experience - Around 15 years of experience in mobile app development, with at least 5+ years in an architectural or leadership role. - Extensive experience in native (iOS and Android) and cross-platform (React Native, Flutter, Ionic-Capacitor) mobile app development. Technical Skills - Proficiency in mobile app development frameworks and languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, React Native, Flutter, and Ionic. - Strong understanding of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android) and their development environments. - Expertise in backend integration, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. - Experience with mobile app security, encryption, secure authentication mechanisms, and regulatory compliance. - Understanding of mobile app lifecycle management and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
