As a Junior Officer Instruments at FMC, you will play a crucial role in carrying out various engineering tasks to ensure that the systems meet safety standards. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and checking instruments loop diagrams, evaluating technical bids, and making recommendations on instruments and control systems. You will be expected to have detailed knowledge of the operation and maintenance of various types of instruments such as level transmitters, flow transmitters, pressure transmitters, gas detectors, control valves, weighing systems, and analyzers. It will be essential for you to identify and maintain critical spares for plant operation. Additionally, you will be responsible for commissioning all instruments and control systems according to OEM guidelines, as well as working on the repair and maintenance of different types of valves and their actuators. Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems, preferably Allen Bradley and Delta V Emerson, will be beneficial. Familiarity with CEMS systems and their integration with GPCB/CPCB will also be expected. You will need to create instrument indexes, I/O schedules, logic diagrams, cable schedules, and instrument datasheets using specialized software. Furthermore, handling control system deliverables, such as telecommunication system specifications and system block diagrams, will be part of your role. To excel in this position, you must have a solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering and Safety Standards, possess strong problem-solving abilities, and demonstrate keen attention to detail. Hands-on experience in this field will be a valuable asset in fulfilling your duties effectively.,
