Job Description: Inward Supervisor

Position Overview

The Inward Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all incoming materials, ensuring proper receipt, verification, documentation, and storage. This role ensures accuracy of inventory, compliance with quality standards, and smooth coordination with purchase, stores, quality, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily inward material activities.
• Verify GRN (Goods Receipt Note) entries, supplier invoices, and delivery challans.
• Inspect incoming materials for quantity, quality, and specifications as per purchase orders.
• Coordinate with Quality Control / Quality Assurance for material sampling and approval.
• Ensure proper labelling, segregation, and storage of received materials.
• Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/software.
• Monitor unloading activities and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Communicate discrepancies or shortages to the Purchase Department.
• Prepare and submit daily inward reports to management.
• Train and supervise store helpers, loaders, and inward staff.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed for material handling.

Skills & Requirements

• Graduate / Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• 6-1 years of experience in store/inward operations. (freshers can apply to)
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month (depending on qualification and interview)
