Investment Accounting Business Analyst - Manager

Role Overview: As an Investment Accounting Business Analyst Manager at EY, you will play a crucial role in managing and delivering cutting-edge solutions to clients in the investment management industry. Key Responsibilities: - Proven experience in portfolio and fund accounting within the investment management industry. - Hands-on exposure to accounting platforms such as BlackRock Aladdin, Geneva, and SimCorp Dimension. - Demonstrated ability to contribute to data migration and platform implementation projects, particularly within accounting systems. - Solid understanding of security reference data and its critical role in financial systems and processes. - Extensive expertise across multiple asset classes, including fixed income, equities, and derivatives. - In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices throughout the entire product life cycle. - Skilled in performing accounting data reconciliations and conducting financial impact analyses. - High-level understanding of data models, application architecture, and business processes within financial platforms. - Capable of translating client requirements into actionable insights for technical teams. - Strong leadership qualities and excellent client-facing communication skills. Qualifications Required: - 12+ years of experience in portfolio and fund accounting. - Familiarity with STAT reporting is a strong advantage. - Understanding of financial statements. - Strong techno-functional knowledge of core wealth/asset management platforms such as Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, and Geneva. - Technical experience with relational data models and SQL queries. - Proficiency in Oracle, MS SQL, or DB2 databases with strong data analytics skills. - Advanced Excel and VBA skills.
