As a Purchase & Costing professional with a background in Automotive New Technology Components, you will be responsible for the following: - Demonstrating technical knowledge of EV system parts. - Conducting costing, quote analysis, making costing & negotiation strategies, and negotiating with suppliers. - Performing teardown & functional analysis, cost estimation, part level benchmarking, and techno-commercial comparison of various components including EV Battery pack & chemistry, EV Architecture understanding, Battery Pack, Motor, Invertor, DC-DC, On board Charger, HV J/B, High Voltage compressor, EV Thermal management, etc. - Analyzing Vehicle Cost, understanding P&L, and preparing related documentation. - Comparing components vis-a-vis competitor vehicle parts. - Generating innovative value enhancement & design to cost proposals. - Applying techno-commercial knowledge of various EV components. - Demonstrating self-initiative, teamwork, and a passion for analysis and design intent. - Generating ideas for cost/weight reduction and new technology implementation. - Possessing excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and report writing. Competency Requirements: - Demonstrating thorough technical and commercial knowledge of automotive EV technology systems/subsystems/parts. - Planning and scheduling activities efficiently. - Communicating effectively with Peers, Vendors, and Machine Makers. - Maintaining a positive attitude with a willingness to undertake new initiatives. Educational Qualification: - B.E / B. Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Mechatronics, Mechanical (if desired experience is met), with a minimum of 60% marks.,
