Inventory Controller

Inventory & Stock Control

• Manage daily inventory operations using Petpooja Inventory Module.
• Monitor stock levels of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and consumables.
• Ensure timely stock availability to support uninterrupted kitchen operations.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock checks and reconcile physical stock with system records.

Petpooja Software Handling

• Create and maintain item masters, units of measurement, and recipe mappings in Petpooja.
• Update stock inward, stock transfers, and stock adjustments accurately in the system.
• Monitor real-time consumption based on sales and recipe configurations.
• Identify and correct stock variances, shortages, and excess stock through Petpooja reports.

Purchase & GRN Management

• Coordinate with the purchase team for raising purchase requisitions based on stock levels and consumption trends.
• Verify goods received against Purchase Orders (POs) and generate Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) in Petpooja.
• Ensure correct pricing, quantity, batch details, and expiry dates are entered in the system.

Recipe & Cost Control

• Maintain and update standard recipes in Petpooja to ensure accurate stock deduction.
• Monitor food cost percentage and control wastage, pilferage, and over-portioning.
• Assist management in menu costing and price revisions based on inventory data.

Wastage, Variance & Shrinkage Control

• Record kitchen wastage, spillage, damages, and expiry losses in Petpooja.
• Analyze variance reports and identify root causes for inventory discrepancies.
• Implement corrective actions to reduce wastage and improve stock efficiency.

Inter-Outlet Stock Movement

• Handle stock transfers between kitchen, stores, and multiple outlets through Petpooja.
• Maintain proper documentation and approvals for all stock movements.

Reporting & MIS

• Generate and share daily and monthly inventory reports:
• Stock summary
• Consumption reports
• Wastage reports
• Variance and closing stock reports
• Support audits by providing accurate inventory records and system reports.

Vendor & Store Coordination

• Coordinate with vendors for timely deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage practices (FIFO/FEFO) and compliance with food safety standards.
• Train store and kitchen staff on basic inventory handling and Petpooja entries.

Compliance & SOP Adherence

• Follow company SOPs, hygiene standards, and food safety regulations.
• Ensure accurate data entry and system discipline to maintain inventory integrity.
• Support internal and external audits.
