Job Title: Key Account Manager (Intraocular Lens Portfolio) Division: Chain of Hospitals Location (HQ): Hyderabad & Coimbatore Experience Required: 06 to 15 Years Industry: Ophthalmic-Surgical or Ophthalmic-Pharma Role Objective: A key objective of this position is to drive sales growth by retaining and expanding relationships with selected Key accounts, encouraging repeat purchases, brand loyalty and increasing the usage and upgrades of current product lines and wallet share. Role & Responsibilities: Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases and enhance brand loyalty. Sales Execution: Execute sales strategies to increase wallet share of existing customers by promoting upgrades and increasing usage. Product Focus: Drive sales of the current product line, including Genesis, Toric, Multi Focal, and EDOF lenses . Account Management: Work on increasing wallet share in existing active accounts by identifying opportunities for upgrades and additional purchases. Lead Generation: Utilize marketing leads generated from existing active customers to drive sales and upgrades. Sales Targets: Own and achieve sales targets for existing business and upgrades. Sales Operations: Handle bundling of products, commercial selling, and building customer relationships. E-commerce & Feedback: Manage e-commerce activities, collect customer feedback, and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction. Collection & Evaluation: Oversee sales collections, upgrade evaluations, and ensure timely and accurate reporting. Functional Skills Required: Sales & Marketing Expertise: Strong knowledge of sales techniques, marketing strategies, and customer relationship management. Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of the product lines and their applications in the biotech field. CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software and sales tools for tracking and managing customer interactions and sales activities. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve sales performance. Behavioral Skills Required: Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills to close deals and secure customer loyalty. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues. Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to achieve common goals. Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying and resolving issues that may arise in the sales process. Overview: We are seeking a technically proficient professional with a strong background in machine tools and processes used in the spectacle lens and intraocular lens (IOL) manufacturing industry. This role is crucial for providing hands-on technical support, optimizing machining processes, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Technical Expertise: Deliver expert-level support in machining and finishing processes specific to spectacle and IOL manufacturing. Process Optimization: Collaborate with customers to enhance tool performance, surface finish, and production efficiency in ophthalmic lens manufacturing. Customer Support: Provide both on-site and remote troubleshooting and technical assistance related to cutting tools and machine tool performance. Machine Tool Application: Utilize knowledge of precision machine tools for cutting, grinding, polishing, and coating applications in lens manufacturing. Product Customization: Work closely with R&D and customers to design and develop customized cutting tools for ophthalmic lens machining. Training & Demonstrations: Conduct training sessions and live demonstrations for both customers and internal teams on best practices in lens machining. Industry Monitoring: Stay informed about the latest trends and technological advancements in optical manufacturing, CNC lens processing, and automation. Qualifications: Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 38 years of experience in precision machining, ophthalmic lens manufacturing, or relevant machine tool applications. Technical Competencies: Proficiency in machine tools used for spectacle and IOL production, including grinding, lathing, and polishing. Knowledge of CNC machining, diamond turning, and ultra-precision grinding. Experience with optical-grade cutting tools. Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to support process improvements and effective tool selection. Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently for on-site customer support, product trials, and training programs. Preferred Requirements: Exposure to freeform lens manufacturing and advanced optical coatings . Familiarity with machines from Satisloh, OptoTech, Schneider, or Coburn . Hands-on experience with diamond turning and ultra-precision tooling in optical component manufacturing.
