As a Western Violin Instructor/Violin Teacher, your primary responsibility will be to provide instrumental instruction to students. You will guide them in mastering proper violin techniques, which includes posture, finger positioning, bowing techniques, and intonation. Your role involves developing structured lesson plans that focus on skill progression, technique enhancement, and music theory education. You will also be expected to mentor students in advanced techniques like vibrato, double-stopping, and shifting. In addition to instrumental instruction, you will be responsible for educating students on music theory concepts relevant to the violin, such as scales, key signatures, and rhythm. Your role will also involve teaching sight-reading and ear training to enhance students" musical literacy and aural skills. Furthermore, as a Violin Teacher, you will play a crucial role in repertoire development. You will be required to carefully select and assign musical pieces that align with the students" skill level and musical interests. Introducing students to a diverse range of genres, including classical, folk, jazz, and contemporary music, will be essential to building a well-rounded repertoire. Another key aspect of your role will involve preparing students for performances, auditions, and exams. You will focus on ensuring technical accuracy and expressive interpretation in their performances. Additionally, organizing or participating in recitals, ensemble performances, and informal showcases will provide students with valuable performance experience. This is a full-time position, and the ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of total work experience. Ability to effectively assess, coach, and motivate individuals from diverse linguistic backgrounds. Strong presentation and facilitation skills. Experience in creating engaging training content. Analytical skills to identify training needs and measure effectiveness. QUALIFICATION: Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field. Certifications in TEFL, TESOL, or voice & accent training are highly desirable.
