Interventional Cardiologist

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Interventional Cardiologist to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases using catheter-based techniques. The ideal candidate will have expertise in minimally invasive procedures and provide comprehensive cardiac care to patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures including:
• Coronary Angiography
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
• Balloon Angioplasty & Stent Placement
• Pacemaker & ICD Implantation
• Structural heart procedures (as applicable)
• Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular disorders in OPD, IPD, and emergency settings.
• Interpret cardiac imaging and diagnostic tests (ECG, Echo, Stress Tests, Holter, etc.).
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in catheter lab duties and ensure quality assurance and safety standards are followed.
• Provide on-call coverage for cardiac emergencies (primary PCI, acute MI cases).
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive cardiac care.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in interventional cardiology.

Qualifications & Requirements

• DM / DNB in Interventional Cardiology (or equivalent).
• Valid medical license/registration with the appropriate medical council.
• Proven experience in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures.
• Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in advanced interventional techniques (e.g., CTO interventions, TAVR, EVAR—as applicable).
• Ability to handle high-pressure emergency situations.
• Interest in clinical research / academic participation (optional based on hospital preference).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
