International Welding Engineer

1. Qualification : BE/ M Tech in Mechanical/ Metallurgy / Welding

2. Certification: International welding Engineer from IIW ( attached IWE certificate for reference)

3. Experience : Min 8yrs in Fabrication field of fusion welding.

4.1 Good Knowledge in ISO and AWS Welding codes Preparation WPS, PQR and WPQR.

4.2 Good Knowledge in process like GTAW, GMAW & RSW process.

4.3 Good Knowledge in metallurgical behavior of CS, SS & Aluminum Need to conduct DOE for process validation.

4.4 Support BDG in Welding Feasibility study - Welding fixture requirement, qualification cost, NRE charges etc.

4.5 Prior experience in preparing documentation for EN 15085, ISO 3834 , IRIS will be added advantage.

4.6 Shall be familiar with NABL Testing standards and coordinate welding qualifications.

4.7 Periodic Internal process Audits, Welder training, welder requalification in every 6 months.

4.8 Good communication & check readiness before customer process Audit support.

4.9 Qualify new Welding consumable supplier, Tier 2 welding suppliers, Welding machine qualification.

4.10 Should be able to identify the Root cause of customer welding NCMR.

4.11 Visual inspection of New product development weldments & Qualification of proto types .

4.12 NDT certificate like ASNT level -2. ISO 9712 VT & DPT will be added advantage.

4.13 Prepare welding rework procedure.
