Title: Assistant Manager- International Tax Location: Bangalore Shift: Morning Shift Experience: 4 years' experience in Direct and international tax Education: Chartered Accountant Role Description: The role would need reporting to international tax manager and support the team in a wide range of jurisdictions across different areas of the world such as Finland, Poland, Baltics, Scandinavia, Germany, North-West and Central Europe. The main functions would be (but not limited to) the following: 1. Assist and prepare all compliance requirements in a wide array of countries covered in the above regions: a. Preparation of the tax provision workings for statutory financial statements (FS) based on local GAAP; b. Preparation of the corporate tax return and coordination with all internal and external shareholders. c. Taking control of periodical tax payments within timelines. d. Assist in handling tax audits/tax queries/investigations/ litigations with tax authorities e. Work in coordination with the Business Units to obtain the relevant information. f. Tax accounting, preparation of Balance sheet schedules, preparing and maintaining tax roll forward, posting tax entries like provision, payments etc. 2. Preparation of consolidated quarterly IFRS tax provision report. 3. Perform tax research to answer tax questions from business units or other support functions. Keep up with new tax developments and ensure compliance with rules and regulations. Requirement Chartered Accountant with work experience – 4 years in Direct and international tax Autonomous, proactive, flexible and eager to learn Team-player Proficiency in MS Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines High- level of accuracy in managing tax-related processes and documentation and demonstrate a good understanding of Global tax compliance and reporting needs Your future duties and responsibilities Required qualifications to be successful in this role Together, as owners, let’s turn meaningful insights into action.
