The Finance Manager will oversee the integrity of financial data, compliance, and team development while supporting strategic business outcomes Key Responsibilities Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders Drive continuous improvement of finance systems and collaboration with external accountants Preparation, review and filing of statuary monthly and quarterly returns, including GST, IAS and Payroll Tax returns Ensure financial compliance with all regulatory and statutory obligations(check with the candidate) Ensure timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and internal controls Lead core accounting functions including AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations Mentor and support junior finance staff to foster a collaborative, high-performing team Oversee daily cash flow, treasury functions, and financial forecasting Oversee payroll and ensure compliance with awards, tax, and internal policies Prepare accurate monthly management reports and board packs with financial insights About You CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years of experience of accounting standards and financial regulations Experience in Australia accounting and tax is a must Expertise in bookkeeping, preparing financial statements and annual tax returns Preparation, reviewing and filing statuary monthly and quarterly returns Has worked directly with stakeholders(Check with the candidate if he directly reports into whom) Effective communicator with ability to collaborate across departments Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or Senior Accountant role Proactive, hands-on approach and commitment to continuous improvement Proficient in Excel and accounting systems such as NetSuite, TechOne, Xero, or MYOB Strong financial reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills How to apply?
