Internal Audit - AGM

Our client, a leading NBFC based in Chennai, is seeking a professional with over 12 years of experience to join their Internal Audit Department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading a group within the department and overseeing Branch Audits. Your role will involve planning and executing audits as per the Internal Audit Plan, reviewing the work of team members, and providing guidance as needed. Additionally, you will be required to prepare Audit Reports, interact with department officials for responses, and ensure compliance through an Action Taken Report. You will also be responsible for preparing papers related to the Audit Committee and ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Utilizing Data Analytics as part of the audit process will be crucial to your success in this role. The ideal candidate should possess strong Team Management and Analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office, and excellent communication and report writing abilities. Qualifications such as M.Com, CA Inter/Final, or related fields are required, with additional qualifications being preferred. A minimum of 12 years of experience in Internal Audit Department is essential, along with the ability to interpret and apply complex audit requirements. Furthermore, you should demonstrate exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, along with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels within the organization. Experience in managing larger teams/clients, conducting vendor performance reviews, and driving efficiency improvements will be advantageous for this role.
