In this role at Airbus India Private Limited, you will be responsible for proposing and developing new kinematic mechanisms, considering design constraints, performance, and business requirements. Your core activities will include understanding the type of joints/connections required for MBS modeling using CAD data, creating hard points for joints/connections in CATIA, and creating stick models to analyze kinematics. You will also create MBS models with friction, contacts, springs, forces, and constraints, and perform pre-processing and post-processing steps for flexible bodies. Key Responsibilities: - Propose and develop new kinematic mechanisms - Understand and model joints/connections for MBS using CAD data - Create hard points for joints/connections in CATIA - Create stick models to analyze kinematics - Develop MBS models with various elements - Perform pre-processing and post-processing steps for flexible bodies - Conduct clearance/clash prediction, DoE, sensitivity studies, and analyze failure cases - Determine forces, torques, displacements, and range of motion using MBS - Correlate MBS model results with physical test results if necessary Qualifications Required: - Basic knowledge of aircraft architecture and flight loads - Understanding of movable mechanical systems in an aircraft - Sound knowledge of kinematic joints, DOFs, couplers, and gear systems - Experience with design and analysis of mechanisms - Familiarity with creating flexible bodies for MBS - Basic knowledge of meshing - Ability to understand and create/modify Python scripts - Analytical and reasoning skills - Experience with co-simulation using MSC Adams would be a plus In addition to the technical aspects of the job, it is important to be aware of potential compliance risks and to act with integrity, as this is crucial for the company's success, reputation, and sustainable growth.
