Interise is hiring AGM-Maintenance, For a highway project in REPL Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and overall management of highways, roads, and related infrastructure within the assigned jurisdiction. This role ensures that roadways are safe, functional, and in good condition for public use while managing a team of maintenance staff and coordinating with other departments and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Supervision and Management: Manage and supervise a team of maintenance workers, equipment operators, and support staff. Assign tasks, schedule work, and monitor performance to ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance activities. Provide training, guidance, and support to staff. Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee routine and emergency maintenance of highways, including pothole repairs, road resurfacing, and drainage management. Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of roadways and infrastructure. Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for specialized repairs and construction projects. Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement maintenance schedules and work plans. Coordinate with local government agencies, utility companies, and other stakeholders to manage road closures, detours, and traffic control during maintenance activities. Prepare and manage budgets for maintenance projects and equipment procurement. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and standards. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards or compliance issues. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment usage, and safety incidents. Reporting and Communication: Prepare reports on maintenance activities, project status, and budget expenditures. Communicate effectively with the public, addressing concerns and providing updates on road conditions and maintenance schedules. Attend meetings and provide input on long-term planning and infrastructure improvement projects. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Strong knowledge of highway maintenance practices, safety regulations, and relevant software tools. Main responsibilities include: • Identify the applicable direct and indirect tax compliances for all group entities and ensure all compliances are completed on time and the workings, challans return copies etc. are properly documented. • Timely preparation or review of quarterly TDS returns and Advance Tax. • Oversee the preparation & submission of monthly and annual GST returns. • Ensure correct withholding of taxes and timely payment of TDS every month • Review of applicable annual forms like FLA returns, Form 29B, Form 10CCB, Form 64B, Form 61A etc. • Review of Form 15CA and 15CB • First point of contact for colleagues for providing support & advice with relation to specific transactions that has Tax/GST impact. • Follow up the evolution of tax laws, spot tax saving opportunities & tax risks, and report accordingly. • Handle Tax & GST litigations independently and ensure timely submission against Notices. This includes liaisoning with Tax & GST Authorities. • Prepare GST Litigation status, Income Tax litigation status and scrutiny assessment status chart on monthly basis • Follow up with authorities for Income tax refund and raise grievances wherever required • Proactively manage Tax audits, & Income tax return filing for the Group SPVs in close collaboration with Auditors. • Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation (SDT) in coordination with Auditors. • Support F&A Team for timely closure of quarterly & yearly financials (Tax provision, DTA/DTL, Tax contingencies etc) • Evaluate tax issues/exposures related to Notices and report the actionable to the management. • Ensure that all GST input credits are properly availed and utilized. • Review of monthly reconciliation of GST Returns with books and suggest accounting team for necessary corrective actions like offsetting entries in books.
