Site Supervisor Job Description Job Title: Site Supervisor Department: Project Management & Execution Location: [Company Location / Project Sites] Reports To: Project Manager / Operations Head Job Summary: We are seeking a Site Supervisor with 1 year of experience to oversee the execution of interior design and manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for on-site supervision, quality control, labor management, and ensuring project timelines are met. This role demands strong technical knowledge of interior fit-outs, carpentry, modular furniture installation, and site coordination. Key Responsibilities: 1. Site Supervision & Execution Oversee the installation, assembly, and finishing of interior design elements such as furniture, flooring, wall panels, ceilings, and fixtures. Ensure all site activities align with project drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Conduct daily site inspections and resolve technical issues or deviations. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. 2. Workforce & Vendor Coordination Manage and coordinate contractors, skilled laborers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow. Assign tasks to carpenters, painters, electricians, and other site workers while ensuring adherence to schedules. Liaise with vendors and suppliers for the timely delivery of materials and equipment. Monitor worker performance and provide on-site training or guidance when required. 3. Quality Control & Safety Compliance Inspect materials, workmanship, and installation processes to ensure high-quality finishes. Enforce adherence to company standards, client requirements, and industry best practices. Implement and maintain safety protocols in compliance with OSHA and local construction laws. Conduct risk assessments and address any site hazards proactively. 4. Project Planning & Reporting Assist the Project Manager in planning and scheduling on-site work. Track project progress and report delays, challenges, and required adjustments. Maintain daily site logs, progress reports, and documentation of work completed. Coordinate site visits with clients, architects, and senior management. 5. Client Interaction & Issue Resolution Act as the on-site representative for clients, addressing their concerns and providing updates. Ensure client expectations regarding quality, timelines, and customization are met. Identify and resolve site-level conflicts or operational challenges. Required Qualifications & Skills: Educational Background: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field. Experience: 1 year of experience as a Site Supervisor, Interior Fit-Out Supervisor, or Project Coordinator in the interior design, furniture manufacturing, or construction industry. Technical & Soft Skills: Strong knowledge of interior fit-outs, carpentry, joinery, modular furniture installation, and finishing work. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, AutoCAD plans, and project blueprints. Hands-on experience with power tools, site measuring equipment, and safety gear. Good understanding of material handling, logistics, and vendor coordination. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office, project tracking tools, and site documentation. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): On-time project completion without major delays. Quality of installation work with minimal rework. Safety compliance and incident-free site operations. Effective workforce management and productivity.
