Description
Role & responsibilities Conceptualize and develop innovative and functional design solutions for commercial interiors, ensuring alignment with the clients brand, vision, and budget. Lead and manage the entire design process from concept to execution , including space planning , material selection , furniture layouts , and color schemes . Prepare detailed drawings, 3D renderings , and technical documentation using design software such as AutoCAD , SketchUp , Revit , and 3Ds Max . Work closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into creative, functional interior designs. Collaborate with the project management and construction teams to ensure the design intent is executed accurately during the implementation phase. Source and specify materials, finishes, and furniture that align with the projects aesthetic and functional requirements. Attend client meetings and provide regular updates on the design process, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, materials, and sustainable design practices. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality design deliverables. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a recognized institution. 3-5 years of professional experience in interior design, particularly in commercial interiors . Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD , SketchUp , Revit , 3Ds Max , and Photoshop . Strong understanding of space planning , materials , color theory , and furniture design . Excellent visualization and presentation skills , with the ability to create compelling designs that meet client needs. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage design deliverables and meet deadlines. Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and project teams. A portfolio showcasing previous commercial interior design projects is a must.
