Interior Design Draftsman

As an Interior Design Draftsman, your role involves creating technical drawings and plans using CAD software to support design and execution teams. Your attention to detail and precision will play a crucial role in ensuring alignment with project requirements. - Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD or other CAD software. - Interpret and convert engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations into clear drawings. - Collaborate with professionals to ensure design accuracy and project alignment. - Modify and revise drawings based on feedback or site changes. - Maintain a library of updated drawings and project documentation. - Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and guidelines. - Assist in preparing BOQs, as-built drawings, and technical documentation. - Visit project sites for measurements, inspections, or verifications when required. Qualifications and Requirements: - Diploma or ITI in Drafting, Mechanical, Civil, Architecture, or related field. - Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D); knowledge of SolidWorks, Revit, or other design tools is a plus. - 5 years of relevant experience as a draftsman in construction, MEP, civil, or manufacturing. - Good understanding of technical drawings, materials, and construction methods. - Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans. - Strong attention to detail and time management skills. - Basic knowledge of site procedures and technical documentation.
