As an S3D Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting administrative activities for Hexagon (Intergraph) S3D projects. Your primary responsibilities will include setting up projects for S3D, handling day-to-day administration tasks, and ensuring the smooth delivery of project deliverables. You will be tasked with analyzing potential solutions using established procedures, building strong relationships with customers, and expanding your knowledge base. Additionally, having knowledge in SPF will be advantageous for this role. Your contributions as an S3D Administrator will be instrumental in driving innovation across the energy sector. By collaborating with a global team of over 30,000 experts in 54 countries, you will be at the forefront of shaping the energy transition and turning ambitious ideas into reality. From laying subsea infrastructure to designing offshore wind projects, your work will have a tangible impact on the sustainable delivery of energy products worldwide. Key tasks and responsibilities in this role will encompass a wide range of activities, including customization, catalog creation, symbol development, isometric customization, view style creation, report generation, and the creation of custom commands. You will be expected to have a solid understanding of S3D interfaces, class relationships, and the ability to create reports using COM, VB.Net, and C#. Proficiency in creating custom commands using C# and VB.Net, along with experience in administration activities such as setup, GWC configuration, interference setup, and naming rules creation, will be essential for success in this position. Additionally, resolving designer issues, troubleshooting modeling procedures, and developing best practices for modeling will be part of your regular duties. To qualify for this role, you should hold a degree in engineering or an equivalent technical diploma. A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in S3D Administration is required, along with a strong grasp of engineering design, drafting applications, and engineering data integration software packages. Familiarity with Aveva 3D or other Smartplant tools will be beneficial. Your ability to leverage current systems technology, tools, and processes to achieve project objectives, coupled with a sound understanding of engineering practices and project execution concepts, will be critical for excelling in this role.
