Job Description (Field Service Engineer): The Field Service Engineer (FSE) will be responsible for meeting the daily service maintenance and repair needs of the customer’s equipment. Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers as well as performing necessary administrative duties as required and other duties as assigned. Meeting with customer/official to understand the technical problem/improvement/modification requirement. Responsible to visit the work (AMC/ARC/W/OW) complaint sites for attend the failure notice and resolve the problem with in time frame. Responsible to conduct and maintain failure analysis of their area on monthly basis for module and component level. Qualifications & Requirements The following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to successfully perform this role. However, any equivalent combination of experience, education and training, which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities, would be acceptable, subject to any legal and/or regulatory requirements. Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, experience in servicing equipment. Must have Fresher or experience field servicing/ power supply testing. Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process. Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required. Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns. Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner. Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills. . Working Conditions Working in the field area of low levels. Periodic day/overnight travel. Salary As per company rule/ based on experience and meet the shramik kalyan portal of Indian Railway.
