Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters Key stakeholders Internal: Technology Service Managers, CaaS team Interfacing Application Support Teams, Technical Teams (DBAs, Network, UNIX, Windows) External Vendors (Oracle, ATOS Other Responsibilities As an L3 DBA, the resource should be able to resolve the most complex technical issues professionally, rapidly, and consistently and work alongside both colleagues and other teams to identify any root cause or required implementation plan. The L3 DBA must also be able to work with colleagues to design and implement practical solutions to the various challenges in the database estate and work towards increasingly automated monitoring and support solutions. The L3 DBA is required to provide database support of deep technical expertise to all the stakeholders in a stable, productive, and cost-effective manner. They should be highly self-motivated, task oriented and capable of working independently in carrying out tasks and trouble Shooting. The L3 DBA is responsible for ensuring availability and performance of the databases that support the system. The L3 DBA is responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades. Provide technical support and resolve outage in a short turnaround time. The L3 DBA will actively engage with key stakeholders to ensure different objectives are aligned and assist stakeholders by providing specialist skills and knowledge as required. The L3 DBA will participate in out-of-hours support and delivery as required as well as change implementation.
