As a Software Developer for the US Markets team at Qode Advisors LLP, located in Mumbai with on-site presence during US Market Hours, you will be part of a proprietary trading firm expanding into global markets with a focus on technology and automation. With 13 years of experience, you will be working the night shift from 3:00 PM to 2:30 AM IST (Mon-Fri) with a competitive CTC along with a night shift allowance and performance bonus in the Financial Services / Quant Trading / FinTech industry. You will have the opportunity to work at the ground level of the US trading desk, where quick decision-making, instant feedback, and steep learning curves are the norm. Your role will involve collaborating with the team to handle live US execution and infrastructure, playing a crucial part in developing tools, automations, and systems necessary for expanding trading operations globally. Responsibilities include building and maintaining tools for trade monitoring, automation, and reporting during live US market hours, assisting in constructing new execution and order management infrastructure for US markets, supporting the US trading desk with real-time issue handling and debugging, working with global data APIs, time zone management, and multi-exchange data structures, contributing to codebases affecting live trading performance, creating robust documentation, and ensuring system reliability during night operations. The tech stack you will be working with includes Python as the primary language, along with tools like Git, Docker, REST APIs, and WebSockets, databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis, working in Linux environments, managing cron jobs, and utilizing automation frameworks. Experience with Interactive Brokers, FIX API, or US broker integration is a bonus. We are seeking individuals with 13 years of software development experience, a strong sense of ownership, comfort working in small teams, readiness to work in US hours permanently, excellent debugging skills, a mindset for scripting and system thinking, clear communication skills crucial for night operations, and bonus points for exposure to trading systems, market APIs, or US financial instruments.
