Job Description

1. Educational Qualifications:

MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery)
Mandatory basic medical degree.
MD/DNB in Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, Pulmonary Medicine, or Critical Care Medicine
Preferred for senior ICU roles.
Diploma in Critical Care Medicine (IDCCM) or Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (IFCCM)
– Additional specialization for ICU-focused doctors.
DM/DNB in Critical Care Medicine
– Super-specialization for higher expertise.

2. Key Skills & Competencies:

Expertise in managing
ventilators, life support systems, and critical care monitoring.
Proficiency in
emergency procedures
like intubation, central line insertion, and arterial line placement.
Strong knowledge of
infection control, sepsis management, and hemodynamic monitoring.
Ability to handle
multi-organ failure, trauma, and post-operative care.
Decision-making under pressure and excellent
team coordination
with nurses and specialists.

3. Work Experience:

Fresh MBBS graduates can work in ICUs under supervision.
MD/DNB holders with
2+ years of ICU experience
preferred for senior roles.
