Job Summary: As an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, performance, and optimization of our SAP landscape. This role involves working closely with infrastructure, application, and project teams, while ensuring high availability and resilience of SAP systems across various environments. Job Description: System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, etc.) Configure and manage SAP system parameters and profiles Apply system upgrades, patches, SAP Notes, and hotfixes Monitor system health and performance, ensuring proactive actions Address SAP Security Notes and system vulnerabilities Perform client administration, transport management, and spool/batch job administration Configure and troubleshoot SAP SSO/SAML Performance Tuning & Optimization: Analyze and resolve system performance bottlenecks Tune database parameters, queries, and indexes for optimal performance Monitor and optimize background job scheduling and execution Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis: Analyze system logs, dumps, and trace files to resolve complex technical issues Collaborate with functional teams to deliver end-to-end technical resolutions Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup/recovery strategies Perform periodic system backups, restores, and test recovery procedures Manage HANA database backups and performance optimization Project Implementation & Support: Participate in SAP implementation, migration, upgrade, and RISE conversion projects Handle system sizing, technical cutover, and Go-Live support Support hyperscaler/cloud-based deployments and integrations SAP DART and Data Archiving: Setup and configure SAP DART (Data Retention Tool) for audit and compliance purposes Manage SAP Data Archiving including standard and custom archiving objects using SARA Support document archiving and management using DMS, Intellidocx Documentation & Governance: Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks Ensure compliance with audit, risk, and ITSM policies Technical Environment: Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Unix, AIX Databases: HANA, Sybase ASE, MSSQL, MaxDB SAP Products: ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, GRC, NetWeaver (ABAP/Java), PI/PO, SLT, BOBJ, BODS, SAP Cloud Connector, SAP CPI Tools & Platforms: SAP Solution Manager 7.2 (EWA, CHARM, ITSM, CBTA, CSOL), SAP Web Dispatcher, Load Balancer Cloud Platforms: SAP RISE, SAP Cloud Platform, Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) Profile Description: 6-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration Strong technical knowledge of SAP system landscapes and architecture Experience in installations, upgrades, patches, migrations, and RISE conversions Proficiency in SAP HANA administration and performance tuning Exposure to SAP Security, SAML/SSO configurations Experience with SAP DART, SAP Data Archiving (SARA), DMS, Intellidocx Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination skills Good understanding of hyperscaler/cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) Willingness to work in a rotational support environment
