As a Senior Sales Engineer for High Voltage Products at Hitachi Energy in Bangalore, India, you will play a crucial role in the High Voltage Business team. Your responsibilities will include meeting sales targets for HV Switchgears in Zone South, Chennai, through face-to-face and remote sales to new and existing customers. Traveling to meet customers, attending customer events/seminars/presentations, and maintaining strong customer relationships will be key aspects of your role. You will engage in pre-sales business development activities, marketing initiatives, and promote the portfolio in various segments such as Industries, Utilities, and EPCs. Monitoring order execution, supporting project handling teams, and ensuring timely submission of reports using tools like SFDC will be part of your routine. Additionally, you will be responsible for resolving customer complaints using the CCRP tool and upholding safety, quality, and integrity standards. To excel in this role, you must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B. Tech.) and possess 5-7 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, particularly in LV & HV Capacitors, Harmonic Filters, and Power Quality Products. A strong understanding of Power Quality is essential for this position. Proficiency in both spoken and written English is a requirement to effectively communicate with stakeholders. As a seasoned professional, you are expected to work independently with general supervision, tackling challenging yet not overly complex problems. Your ability to influence others within the job area through the explanation of facts, policies, and practices will be valuable.
