Position Details: - Job Title: Integration Platform Architect - Function/Department: Technology - Location: [Hyderabad/Bengaluru - Work from Office] - Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview: As the Integration Platform Architect at Chubb, you will play a pivotal role in designing core global platforms, including underwriting, integration, APIs, and various business and engineering platforms. Your responsibilities will involve developing strategic visions and roadmaps for these platforms, understanding the needs of client teams, and influencing roadmaps to align with those needs. You will also be responsible for fostering platform adoption across the company, creating design patterns for easier adoption, and ensuring the development of flexible and reusable architecture designs in line with Chubb Enterprise Architecture standards. Additionally, you will lead Agile and DevOps practices, explore technology innovations, and contribute to modernizing the Chubb technology portfolio. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the architecture design of core global platforms, including underwriting, integration, API, and other business platforms. - Develop strategic vision and roadmaps for platforms across Chubb. - Collaborate with business stakeholders and the engineering team to design adaptable business solutions. - Enforce best practices, review code, and debug critical issues to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions. - Identify technology risks and implement mitigation strategies. - Implement solution architecture governance processes and tools while focusing on design patterns and technology standards. - Drive Agile and DevOps practices and promote technology innovation within the enterprise. - Evaluate open-source technology solutions and contribute to the modernization of the Chubb technology portfolio. - Mentor development teams on sound design and coding principles, particularly in API-based, Micro Services, and Cloud environments. - Lead efforts in application modularization, modernization, and integration architectures. - Collaborate with senior stakeholders to articulate design decisions and promote platform design considerations. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. - 15+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture. - Proficiency in Java, .Net, Python, Kafka, MQ, JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, and Azure. - Experience with Micro Service Architecture models and integration architectures. - Knowledge of insurance underwriting platform architectures is advantageous. - Familiarity with Information Security, Risk Management, and cloud solution design. - Ability to mentor development teams and collaborate closely with engineering teams. - Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
