As an Integration Architect at Astellas, you will be instrumental in shaping and maintaining the data infrastructure by leveraging your expertise in MuleSoft, Talend, Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and related technologies. Your role will involve designing, optimizing, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of data integration pipelines to facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization. Additionally, you will lead and mentor junior data engineers, contribute to the data strategy by identifying opportunities for insights, collaborate with various teams, provide technical support, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and optimize data integration pipelines using appropriate tools to ensure data quality and scalability. - Lead and mentor junior data engineers, share best practices, and foster continuous learning. - Contribute to the organization's data strategy by identifying opportunities for data-driven insights. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value-driven solutions and enhance data analytics. - Provide technical support, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure system uptime. - Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance and maintainability. - Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and cloud platforms. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. - 3-5+ years of experience in building/operating data integrations. - Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Relevant cloud-based integration certifications such as AWS certified DevOps engineer or MuleSoft Certified integration architect Level 1. - Proficiency in RESTful APIs and relevant certifications like CDMP, MDM, DBA, SQL, SAP, TOGAF, API, CISSP, VCP. Preferred Qualifications: - Expertise in data architecture/ engineering/operations/ reporting within Life Sciences/ Pharma industry. - Strong analytical, technical, and automation skills with proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and machine learning techniques. - Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
