As a Manager in EY's GDS Advisory Smart Communications team, your role involves collaborating with key decision-makers to provide fresh approaches to pressing issues faced by organizations, ranging from local start-ups to global conglomerates. Your primary responsibility will be to work on Smart Communications implementations integrating with Guidewire products for various insurers. Your key responsibilities will include: - Working as a team leader to contribute to various technical streams of Smart Communications implementation projects - Interfacing and communicating with onsite coordinators - Planning and monitoring project deliverables - Mentoring the project team - Providing regular status reports to the Manager and onsite coordinators - Interface with customer representatives as needed - Traveling to customer locations as required - Handling Smart Communications end-to-end integration topics - Designing and developing various resource files effectively - Monitoring and analyzing Smart Communications job failures - Leading and mentoring junior resources for Smart Communications technical skills To be successful in this role, you should have: - BE/B.Tech/MCA & MBA with 6 to 8 years of industry experience - Experience in Smart Communications(Thunderhead) tool for document generation and customization - Proficiency in Core Java, JavaScript, XML - Strong knowledge and experience in Tomcat and/or WebSphere/WebLogic Additionally, the following skills and attributes are desired: - Smart Communications certification - Technical Lead experience managing a team of 5 to 10 people - Experience in Agile methodology - Real-time knowledge and experience in enterprise system integration, preferably in the Insurance domain - Excellent business communication skills - Prior client-facing experience You will also have the opportunity to work on quality implementation of Smart Communications tool integration with Guidewire insurance products for insurers worldwide.
