Role Overview As an Insurance Rater (Insurance Enrolment Specialist) , you will be integral to our backend operations team, processing insurance enrolments throughout the night shift with precision and adherence to regulatory standards. Your expertise in evaluating insurance products such as long-term disability, short-term disability, medical, dental, and life insurance is essential. Key Responsibilities Review and accurately process insurance enrolment applications in the backend system. Analyze, rate, and compare insurance quotes , ensuring coverage options align with product-specific guidelines. Calculate premiums , evaluate risk factors, and set appropriate rates for disability (long-term and short-term), medical, dental, and life insurance policies. Verify documentation, ensuring data integrity and compliance in insurance quoting and binding processes. Troubleshoot discrepancies in quotes or enrolment data and escalate issues as needed. Collaborate closely with underwriters, team leads, and supervisors to meet compliance and performance targets. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and underwriting guidelines. Operate effectively during night shifts, demonstrating reliability and attention to detail in high-volume backend operations. Who Were Looking For Education : Graduate in any discipline. Skills & Experience : Experience evaluating or rating insurance quotes , specifically across long-term disability, short-term disability, medical, dental, and life insurance lines. Proficient in premium calculation , risk evaluation, and policy feature assessment. Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities to handle complex quoting and enrolment scenarios. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and interdepartmental coordination. Detail-oriented, with a solid focus on accuracy and data integrity.
