Additionally, you will need to conduct electrical checks, load tests, insulation resistance tests, and maintain earth-pit. It is essential to ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards such as CEIG, local DISCOM, and others. Keeping service logs, documentation, and preparing preventive maintenance reports will also be part of your duties. You will be required to assist in charger firmware upgrades and remote diagnostics in coordination with the backend team. Being available for field calls in case of emergency breakdowns and ensuring quick restoration of uptime will be crucial. Providing technical support for site readiness verification including power availability, earthing, cable routing, and other related tasks will also be expected. Your primary duties will include overseeing the installation and commissioning of pumping machinery to ensure seamless integration with control and protection systems. You will supervise instrumentation works, including sensor installation, control cable terminations, and PLC/SCADA integration.
