As a Lead iOS Developer at Techjays, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing advanced applications for the iOS platform. With over 8 years of experience, you will lead the end-to-end process of creating high-quality iOS applications and frameworks/SDKs. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will define requirements, design solutions, and implement new features that meet high standards for performance, security, scalability, and responsiveness across various iOS devices and OS versions. Your responsibilities will include providing technical leadership through code reviews, offering architectural guidance, and mentoring junior iOS developers. You will contribute to feature definition, user experience design, and prioritization decisions, driving product thinking and innovation. Staying updated with the latest iOS frameworks, tools, and best practices is essential to integrate them into the development process effectively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of high-quality iOS applications and frameworks/SDKs. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and implement new features. - Ensure applications meet high standards for performance, security, scalability, and responsiveness. - Provide technical leadership through code reviews, architectural guidance, and mentoring junior iOS developers. - Contribute to feature definition, user experience design, and prioritization decisions. - Stay current with emerging iOS frameworks, tools, and industry best practices and integrate them into the development process. **Must Have Skills:** - Proven experience in iOS development using Swift and Objective-C, including architectural patterns and modern iOS frameworks. - Strong knowledge of the iOS SDK, lifecycle management, UI/UX best practices, and device/OS compatibility handling. - Proficiency in integrating RESTful APIs and implementing robust networking strategies. - Hands-on experience in building and maintaining custom iOS SDKs or frameworks. - Solid understanding of iOS security best practices and performance optimization techniques. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about product design. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to consult with clients and align stakeholders. **Nice to Have Skills:** - Familiarity with Flutter, React Native, or Kotlin. - Exposure to mobile testing tools and CI/CD pipelines. - Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies. - Ability to lead small teams.
