Utthunga is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Controls & Instrumentation Technicians to support the daily operations, preventive maintenance, and upgrade projects of industrial control systems. This hands-on role involves working directly with field instrumentation, control panels, and SCADA systems, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability. Roles & Responsibilities Perform routine checks, preventive maintenance (PM) , and troubleshooting of control systems and various field instrumentation. Assist in the commissioning and testing of control system upgrades and modifications. Support the installation and calibration of sensors, transmitters, actuators , and other field devices. Monitor system performance and promptly report any anomalies or deviations. Maintain instrumentation inventory , ensuring tools and maintenance logs are accurate and up-to-date. Ensure the proper functioning of control panels, I/O modules, and network connections . Strictly follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures during all maintenance activities. Coordinate with OEMs and vendors during service visits or equipment replacements. Provide essential support during shutdowns, startups, and emergency maintenance . Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills: Basic understanding of instrumentation principles . Hands-on experience with various field devices (e.g., pressure, temperature, flow, level instruments). Practical knowledge of instrument termination . Ability to effectively use multimeters, calibrators, and other diagnostic tools . Soft Skills: Good communication and teamwork abilities . Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance. Willingness to work in shifts and respond to urgent issues as required. Education & Experience: ITI / Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering. 2-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or instrumentation roles.
