You will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of advanced test bench solutions using National Instruments LabVIEW at LUBI ELECTRONICS in Ahmedabad. Your role will involve architecting scalable and robust test systems, ensuring high-quality testing for complex systems. To excel in this position, you must possess a combination of strong technical expertise, strategic project leadership skills, and exceptional problem-solving abilities. As a LabVIEW Solution Architect, your key responsibilities will include: Solution Architecture & Design: - Leading the design and development of test bench solutions utilizing LabVIEW. - Creating system architecture and integration plans for test systems, aligning with client requirements and industry standards. - Collaborating with engineering, quality assurance, and R&D teams to define system specifications and requirements. Development & Implementation: - Developing, testing, and validating LabVIEW-based test programs for hardware and software systems. - Designing custom test procedures, automated test sequences, and data acquisition systems. - Optimizing test bench performance, reliability, and maintainability through continuous improvement and innovation. Project Leadership: - Acting as the technical lead on test bench projects, providing guidance to junior engineers and cross-functional teams. - Overseeing project timelines, deliverables, and ensuring projects are completed within schedule and budget. - Interfacing with clients to understand testing needs, offer technical consultations, and deliver presentations or demonstrations. Quality & Compliance: - Ensuring that all test bench solutions adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices. - Developing and maintaining documentation for test system designs, processes, and operational procedures. Continuous Improvement: - Staying updated on the latest developments in LabVIEW, test automation technologies, and industry trends. - Evaluating and recommending new tools, technologies, or processes to enhance test bench capabilities and efficiency. To qualify for this role, you should have: Education: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or a related field. Experience: - 7+ years of hands-on experience in test bench development and solution architecture. - Proficiency in LabVIEW programming and automated test systems development. - Experience in devising test strategies for complex hardware and software systems. - Previous experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing technical projects. Technical Skills: - Thorough knowledge of National Instruments LabVIEW environment and associated tools (e.g., NI TestStand, DAQmx). - Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ or Python is advantageous. - Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, data acquisition systems, and signal processing. - Understanding of communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet, USB, serial) and instrumentation interfaces. Soft Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic outlook. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proven ability to manage projects, mentor team members, and engage with clients effectively. - Detail-oriented and well-organized with a strong dedication to quality. Preferred Qualifications: - Certification in LabVIEW or related National Instruments programs. - Experience in industry sectors where test bench solutions are crucial. - Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools.
