We are seeking a Design Engineer with strong engineering acumen and hands-on proficiency in SolidEdge. This role involves creating 3D models and detailed design layouts, interpreting technical specifications, and developing comprehensive engineering and manufacturing drawings, particularly for rotating equipment. Role & Responsibilities Demonstrates strong engineering acumen with hands-on proficiency in SolidEdge for creating 3D models and detailed design layouts. Experienced in interpreting technical specifications and developing comprehensive engineering and manufacturing drawings . Possesses foundational knowledge of rotating equipment such as pumps, agitators, and related process industry machinery. Well-versed in using MS Office tools for engineering documentation, reporting, and data management. Skills Required Strong proficiency in SolidEdge for 3D modeling and design. Expertise in creating engineering and manufacturing drawings . Foundational knowledge of rotating equipment and process industry machinery. Proficiency in MS Office for documentation and data management. Ability to read and generate system drawings aligned with P&ID schematics (preferred). Understanding of mechanical design principles in accordance with ASME Section VIII Division 1 (preferred). Familiarity with piping components including valves, flanges, fittings, and basic welding standards (preferred). Basic exposure to instrumentation devices like pressure gauges, switches, and transmitters (preferred).

Your role will involve promoting and selling instrumentation products and solutions, including sensors, analysers, and other measurement devices, to clients across various industries, with a focus on oil & gas, petrochemicals, chemicals, and engineering contractors. To qualify for this position, you must hold an Engineering Degree in Instrumentation or Chemical Engineering. Your responsibilities will include sales and business development, providing technical consultation, managing customer relationships, preparing proposals and quotations, as well as conducting training sessions to enhance product knowledge. As an Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer working on Water Treatment Plant Projects across various sites in India, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to HT/LT Panels, Transformers, Cable Laying, Termination, Control Panels (VFD, Soft Starters, Star-Delta, DOL, etc.), Cable Trays, Earthing Systems, Lighting (Indoor, Outdoor, Street Lighting), Two Pole Structures, and Electrical Distribution Setup. Your primary duties will include overseeing the installation and commissioning of pumping machinery to ensure seamless integration with control and protection systems. You will supervise instrumentation works, including sensor installation, control cable terminations, and PLC/SCADA integration. Testing and commissioning of all electrical systems, such as insulation resistance, high-voltage testing, relay configuration, and protection settings, will also fall under your purview. Additionally, you will be responsible for configuring and calibrating SCADA, PLC systems, protection relays, and instrumentation devices. Collaboration with design, procurement, and QA/QC teams is essential to ensure alignment with specifications, drawings, and industry standards. Proper documentation, including method statements, inspection checklists, test reports, and as-built drawings, must be maintained throughout the project. You will also need to coordinate with client representatives, consultants, and statutory authorities for inspections and approvals, while ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards during all project phases. Troubleshooting technical issues related to electrical and control systems will be part of your regular responsibilities.
