Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for
preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance
of all instrumentation and automation systems (including
DCS
).
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot
DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems
to ensure smooth plant operations.
Maintain and calibrate field instruments such as
flow, level, pressure, and temperature transmitters
, control valves, and analyzers.
Ensure effective monitoring, modification, and backup of
DCS logic and control loops
.
Review and update
P&ID and instrumentation drawings
.
Support
new projects, installations, and commissioning
of instrumentation and DCS systems.
Ensure compliance with
GMP, cGMP, GEP, and regulatory guidelines
during maintenance and documentation.
Lead a team of engineers/technicians and allocate work effectively.
Ensure all
calibration activities
are performed within due dates and records are maintained as per audit requirements.
Coordinate with vendors/contractors for AMC, spare parts, and project execution.
Identify areas for
automation improvements, reliability enhancement, and energy savings
.
Handle
audit queries
(regulatory and internal) related to instrumentation and automation systems.
