The role of a Quality Control Engineer in Arakkonam is crucial for ensuring that quality control processes and inspections for Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) products are carried out in alignment with industry best practices. You will be responsible for various key accountabilities such as evaluating potential suppliers, inspecting inbound materials, providing assistance to internal departments, supervising suppliers during manufacturing, and promoting a culture of personal and team safety. Your role will also involve ensuring 100% quality through different stages of production, possessing in-depth knowledge of Electrical, Electronic, and Instrument testing, establishing processes for standardizing manufacturing process steps, training individuals for quality work, developing supplier quality systems, leading quality audits, and evaluating customer complaints. To excel in this role, you should bring strong experience and passion for in-house/supplier quality, hold a qualification as an Electrical or EEE Engineer with 10-15 years of experience, have expertise in PLC Panel Testing with Siemens, Beckhoff, and AB, possess Lean Six Sigma certification, be a Lead/Internal Auditor in ISO 9001:2015 standard, and exhibit excellent English communication skills along with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in quality engineering in a heavy manufacturing environment.
