Role Overview: As a Commis II at PVR INOX, Prayagraj, you will assist in food preparation under the guidance of senior chefs. Your main responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, ensuring proper storage and handling of ingredients, preparing and plating menu items as per company standards, and following food safety, quality, and hygiene guidelines strictly. Additionally, you will support in daily kitchen operations, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and coordinate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen functioning during service hours. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in food preparation under the guidance of senior chefs. - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area. - Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients. - Prepare and plate menu items as per company standards. - Follow food safety, quality, and hygiene guidelines strictly. - Support in daily kitchen operations, including stock rotation and waste management. - Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality. - Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen functioning during service hours. Qualification Required: - Minimum 1.5 years of relevant experience in kitchen operations or F&B industry. - Basic knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment. - Strong attention to hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards. - Ability to work in a team and follow instructions accurately. - Flexibility to work in rotating and night shifts. - Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn. - Educational Qualification: 12th pass or Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary preferred. Additional Details: The job type is full-time and permanent. Benefits include health insurance and Provident Fund. The experience required is a minimum of 1 year as a Chef.
