This is a full-time, junior-level position suitable for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in social science teaching, lesson planning, and classroom management and will contribute to a positive learning environment. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree (Mandatory skill). Previous experience as a social science teacher or similar role (Mandatory skill). Must be proficient with TGT standards (Mandatory skill). Sound knowledge of social sciences topics and the ability to teach SST effectively. Proficient in lesson planning to ensure comprehensive coverage of the syllabus. Strong classroom management skills to maintain a disciplined and conducive learning environment. Experience in using instructional technology to enhance teaching and engage students. Excellent communication skills to foster mentoring relationships with students. Roles and Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and foster a deep understanding of social sciences. Utilize various teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities of students. Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to student engagement and learning. Assess and evaluate students progress through assignments, tests, and examinations. Participate in faculty meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students academic performance and behavior. Implement school policies and regulations related to student conduct and performance. Encourage students to explore and engage with the content and foster a passion for learning.
