Role Overview We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Psychologist who is proficient in administering, interpreting, and reporting standardized assessments for children across developmental domains. You will play a pivotal role in helping families make sense of their child’s strengths, challenges, and unique profile—often at a turning point in their journey. This is not just a clinical post—it’s a role at the frontlines of transformation , helping parents move from confusion to clarity. Key Responsibilities (KRA) 1. Assessment & Profiling Conduct developmental, behavioral, cognitive, and socio-emotional assessments using standardized tools (e.g., VSMS, DST, MISIC, Conners, M-CHAT, CARS, etc.) Profile children’s functional strengths and challenges through observation and structured parent interviews Prepare comprehensive yet parent-friendly reports with actionable insights and recommendations 2. Parent Interaction & Guidance Explain findings to parents with clarity, empathy, and empowerment Offer initial direction on intervention priorities , home strategies, or referrals if needed Build trust with families who may be dealing with emotional overwhelm post-diagnosis 3. Team Coordination Collaborate with program, parent-coaching, and therapy teams to ensure alignment of intervention plans with assessment findings Support periodic reviews of progress using baseline markers Contribute to the development of internal checklists, documentation templates, and frameworks 4. Role Summary We are seeking a psychologist with a strong foundation in child assessments to join our mission. The ideal candidate will have experience administering and interpreting standardised developmental, behavioural, and cognitive assessments , along with the ability to create clear, parent-friendly reports . An understanding of behavioural principles and early developmental frameworks is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychological and developmental assessments for children with neurodevelopmental concerns (including Autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties). Use tools such as VSMS, MISIC/WISC, CARS, BASC, or other relevant instruments (training support available if needed). Observe and interact with children during structured play, informal screenings, and parent-child interactions. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to contribute to holistic intervention planning. Prepare structured, insight-driven reports and communicate findings to parents with clarity and empathy. Maintain documentation and support data collection aligned with IND’s Developmental GPS tracking system. Assist in designing individualized development pathways based on assessment results.
