The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of complex networked systems. Key Responsibilities Design and develop automated test cases for functional, regression, and system testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Execute test plans across networking and wireless environments , validating protocol behaviour and system performance. Analyse system logs, debug test failures, and file comprehensive defect reports. Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end quality and delivery of software and firmware components. Contribute to test strategy , coverage planning, and continuous test improvements. Use tools like JIRA , Git , and CI/CD pipelines to manage test lifecycle and test case tracking. Participate in wireless testing scenarios including Wi-Fi, 5G, or IoT communications, based on project scope. Actively contribute to test strategy, documentation , and continuous improvement of automation frameworks. Required Skills & Qualifications 5-7+ years of experience in testing with a strong focus on automation and networking domains . Proficiency in test automation tools such as Robot Framework , Python scripting , and automation infrastructure. Good understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, etc.). Hands-on experience with wireless technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi, LTE/5G, RF validation, or IoT protocols). Experience working with Linux environments and scripting (Python, Bash). Familiar with JIRA , Git , test case management , and bug tracking tools . Strong analytical and debugging skills with attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Experience with CI/CD tools , version control, and agile processes. Nice to Have Exposure to JIRA , Postman , or similar test management tools. Experience with performance testing , security/vulnerability testing , or field validation . Role & responsibilities
