As a creator specializing in short-form video content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram, you will play a crucial role in making brands appear human, stylish, and engaging. Your role will involve collaborating closely with Brand Owners and Designers to lead content creation from conceptualization to publishing. This contract position will primarily focus on enhancing the presence of the company on TikTok and Instagram, with potential opportunities to repurpose content for YouTube Shorts. **Key Responsibilities:** - Be the creative force behind TikTok and Instagram channels by pitching, filming, editing, and posting daily video content - Participate on camera or direct talent when necessary - Stay updated on trends, memes, formats, and sounds in real time to capitalize on viral opportunities - Develop recurring content formats or series to drive audience engagement and brand loyalty - Work in coordination with the Director of Social Media to maintain brand voice, campaign schedules, and product storytelling - Monitor performance metrics and make quick iterations based on insights - Repurpose selected content for YouTube Shorts as time permits **Qualifications Required:** - 2+ years of experience in creating short-form content, particularly on TikTok and/or Reels - A portfolio demonstrating humor, speed, cultural relevance, and brand alignment - Proficiency in mobile-first editing tools such as CapCut, Splice, Adobe mobile apps, etc. - Comfortable in front of the camera and capable of directing others with a strong creative perspective - Deep understanding of brand voice and the ability to maintain a witty, weird, and memorable tone - Reliable, proactive, and communicative individual who can stay updated on trending topics In this role, success will be defined by: - Publishing 35 short-form videos daily (90-150/month) on TikTok and Instagram - Creating 12 recurring series that engage followers consistently - Quick turnaround times for filming and editing - Noticeable growth in engagement, organic reach, and audience sentiment within the first 30 days Please note that the above details are required for the job description.
