Roles and Responsibilities Knowledge of dimensional and visual inspection, Measuring instruments, NDT, Calibration & CAPA Knowledge on fabrication process and its inspection Knowledge on quality management systems Drawing interpretation and GD&T knowledge Collect, analyze data and compile comprehensive reports on quality performance Effectively drive systematic problem solving with suppliers and strong in follow ups Ability to identify and resolve drawing issues with design team Ability to assess risk and escalate matters in a timely manner with superiors or within a team Ability to travel extensively to suppliers for inspection / improvement activities Knowledge on quality documentation Hands on experience in MS office, ERP Qualification B.E/ Diploma in mechanical engineering with more than 4 years of experience Proven experience in QA/QC in casting, forging and machining components Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities In depth knowledge of quality standards PPAP knowledge, ISO auditing, CMM knowledge, CAD, supplier evaluation,8D would be an added advantage
