Good to have skills include domain experience with Purchasing or PPC and QM, exposure to new dimension products like APO-DP, SNP & PPDS, and S/4 HANA, as well as knowledge on ABAP debugging. Role requirements include experience in data migration in logistics, strong cross-module functional knowledge between PP-MM, PP-QM, and PP-SD & WM. Understanding client standards, policies, procedures & requirements, providing solutions, FS, configuring the system accordingly, and delivering development tasks with SAP best practices is necessary. As a Supplier Quality Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Supplier Quality team through the supplier quality assurance program. Your main goal will be to ensure that products manufactured meet quality standards, ultimately reducing the number of defects and the cost of poor quality. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in assisting product development and new product introduction from the initial stage to mass production. Root cause analysis will be a key part of your responsibilities to ensure a feedback loop that prevents stoppage of solar plant construction and operation. You will lead the global Supplier Quality team, reporting to the Director of Quality. Your duties will include coordinating with the Sourcing and supply chain team members to ensure supplier qualification and supply readiness in line with the FTC sourcing strategy. It will be your accountability to drive a Zero Defect mentality within the Supply Base and ensure Quality at Source. You will also be responsible for Supplier Qualification through the FTC Solar Supplier Quality Program, including audits and PPAP requirements. Working closely with suppliers, you will ensure adherence to FTC Solar's PPAP Requirement and review and approve processes before mass production. Monitoring process and product parameters of all key components to meet end product requirements will be essential. Your role will also involve supporting new product launches and ensuring compliance with required standards and product requirements. Conducting inspections and ensuring product quality during all stages of Supplier Qualification and Mass Production will be part of your responsibilities. You will drive and close Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions for Supplier Quality issues, working directly with suppliers to address customer complaints. On-site visits for RCA and verification of CAPA will also be required. Supplier performance monitoring, identifying improvement opportunities within the Supply Base, and working with SQ and other relevant team members to monitor and report supplier quality and performance will be part of your daily activities. To be successful in this role, you are expected to have a BE/B. Tech (Mechanical) or Engineering Equivalent degree with at least 8 years of experience in Supplier Quality Function. Travel requirements are up to 50% and on a need basis. Key knowledge, skills, and abilities required include proficiency in Quality Management System (ISO 9001), Supplier Qualification, Audit, Development, and Part Development. Knowledge in PPAP and related activities, Control Plan, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Actions, Measurement Techniques, Inspection Methods, Manufacturing Processes, and reading Engineering Drawings are crucial. Additionally, knowledge in Surface Coating, Products like Motors, Dampers/Shock Absorbers, and planning, prioritizing, good communication, and interpersonal skills are important qualities for this role. With your 8+ years of experience in Supplier Quality function and a BE/B. Tech (Mechanical) or equivalent engineering degree, you will be well-equipped to handle the challenges of this role. Your role may require up to 50% travel on a need basis. To excel in this position, you should possess knowledge in Quality Management System (ISO 9001), Supplier Qualification, Supplier Audit, Supplier Development, and Part Development, among other areas. Strong skills in root cause analysis, measurement techniques, inspection methods, and reading and interpreting engineering drawings will be essential. Your ability to plan and prioritize activities, along with good communication and interpersonal skills, will be crucial in driving supplier quality improvements and ensuring the success of the Supplier Quality team.,
