Presales Engineer Experience & Technical Skills: • 2–6 years of presales and/or solutioning experience in the IT industry • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (Server, Storage, Networking) and related services • Experience in virtualization, disaster recovery, and Active Directory • Hands-on experience in server and storage design, planning, and consulting • Technical expertise in HP and Dell enterprise products Responsibilities: • Develop tailored server and storage solutions for customers and prospects • Assist sales representatives in proposal preparation • Respond to detailed technical queries from sales teams and potential clients • Participate in account mining and cross-selling activities • Translate customer pain points into winning solution propositions • Create collaterals and case studies based on delivered solutions • Engage strategically with OEMs and partners • Analyze customer requirements and design cost-effective solutions • Build solution documents, effort estimates, and pricing models • Collaborate with sales, delivery, and partner managers to deliver complete solutions • Present technical briefings to executives and stakeholders • Support customer acquisition, conversion, and retention initiatives • Interface with internal teams to ensure holistic solution delivery • Provide enablement training to sales teams as needed • Maintain certifications and attend ongoing training sessions • Assist with RFQs, RFPs, bids, proposals, and statements of work • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills • Financial acumen is preferred Additional Requirements: • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines • Understanding of opportunity management lifecycle and IT development methodologies
